Highmarket Inn (Owned and by Doug): Doug, a passionate snowmobiler for 30 years, owns the welcoming Highmarket Inn. He’s been weaving through Tug Hill’s stunning trails for decades, and Highmarket Inn has been a beloved landmark along his journeys.
Highmarket Sports (Owned and Run by Tyler, Doug’s Son): Tyler, who has been snowmobiling with his father for his whole life in Tug Hill, now owns and runs the ATV and snowmobile sports shop. Highmarket Sports offers a range of services, including fuel, repairs, parts, and gear. Whether you need a repair, the latest gear, or just some friendly advice on your outdoor adventures, Highmarket Sports is here to support you.

OUR HISTORY
Highmarket Inn’s journey in Constableville, New York, is a story of resilience and community spirit. It all began in 1968 when a house was transformed into a bar that quickly became a beloved local gathering place. The bar itself holds its own stories, with intriguing tales of notable visitors. It’s said that Billie Carter, President Carter’s brother, stopped by a few times and might have even faced an interesting encounter in nearby Boonville.
In 1991, a significant transformation took place when a pole barn in the back of the property was renovated into the bar we know today. Over the years, Highmarket Inn underwent a series of facelifts to become the thriving restaurant and sports shop we know today.
But the rich history doesn’t end there. Our bar top is a treasure trove of local history, covered in historic pictures from the area dating back to the 1940s, all sealed under an epoxy top. These images provide a glimpse into the past and serve as a tribute to the local heritage and traditions.
Through the years, our commitment to serving delicious food and supporting the community remained unwavering.
